Matcha Tasting with Bernhard Engelmann

The original founder of Green Tea Blue Sky Bernhard Engelmann is first and foremost a genuine Urasenke Tea Ceremony student and was recently given the allowance to continue his learnings at the grade of „Gyou-no-gyou daisu 行之行台子“, which is a considered a great honour.

Secondly he is by now world renowned for his exceptional skills of Matcha preparation. To experience a bowl of Matcha, that was whisked by Bernhard Engelmann is something you will remember for a longer time.

During the Matcha tasting you will experience Matcha prepared as Usucha (thin tea) and Koicha (thick tea) by Marukyu Koyamaen and Horii Shichimeien, both tea companies from Uji, Kyoto, Japan with a long legacy, known for some of the best Matcha to be found.
